We eventually arrived at Carbis Mill after a long lockdown needing a real rest – it was absolutely worth the wait. We were looking for a cosy hideaway and we were delighted with what we got. The cottage is beautiful and peaceful, tucked away by the river with everything you need for a relaxing break. Comfy bed, amazing bath and so nice to enjoy the evenings by the fire. Really enjoyed the short walk to St Erth from where you can get the train into St Ives. Lucy and Adrian are very generous and welcoming hosts with lots of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. We can’t wait to return!
